Overview: The Senior Digital Medial and Social Engagement Specialist is a shared service position that works with the Director of&nbsp;Digital Media/Social Engagement&nbsp;and&nbsp;Digital Media &amp; Social Engagement Regional&nbsp;Managers&nbsp;to ensure&nbsp;digital and&nbsp;social media&nbsp;strategy is being executed for&nbsp;all&nbsp;Boyd Gaming&nbsp;brands&nbsp;on a daily basis.&nbsp;This person&nbsp;carries out the duties of a&nbsp;digital&nbsp;social media specialist while also assisting the Director&nbsp;and&nbsp;Managers&nbsp;in the creation and execution of major&nbsp;digital&nbsp;media campaigns.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assist the Director&nbsp;and Regional Managers&nbsp;in the execution of&nbsp;digital&nbsp;social media&nbsp;strategy across all&nbsp;Boyd Gaming&nbsp;brands.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Serve as a resource for&nbsp;Digital&nbsp;Social Media Specialists and assist in the training and onboarding of new&nbsp;DSM&nbsp;team members.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in working&nbsp;with vendors&nbsp;to ensure proper implementation of their products and train other&nbsp;digital&nbsp;social media team members on their functions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in the management of the agency relationship to&nbsp;ensure successful&nbsp;collaboration and timely delivery of campaigns and related reporting.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Execute comprehensive&nbsp;digital&nbsp;social media strategy for&nbsp;assigned properties.&nbsp;Work with direct&nbsp;manager&nbsp;and property marketing to explore and identify opportunities to integrate social media, display, and SEM&nbsp;into business, marketing strategies, and campaigns.&nbsp;</li> <li>Project manage key initiatives including: social&nbsp;CRM,&nbsp;dynamic&nbsp;retargeting,&nbsp;website&nbsp;pixeling, Salesforce Journeys, and digital advertising.&nbsp;</li> <li>Systems&nbsp;administrator&nbsp;for technical programs including:&nbsp;Khoros,&nbsp;Sprinklr,&nbsp;Wayin, Salesforce Ads Studio, KeePass, Business Manager, and&nbsp;TrustYou.&nbsp;</li> <li>Implement thorough tracking and produce comprehensive reports related to&nbsp;revenue generated per marketing initiative.&nbsp;</li> <li>Communicate&nbsp;and execute&nbsp;company-wide&nbsp;digital&nbsp;social media standards, policies, and rules of engagement for team members and for online guest-facing communities.&nbsp;Responsible for knowledge of all guidelines for all pertinent social channels and&nbsp;maintaining an in-depth knowledge&nbsp;of functionality for those relevant&nbsp;social media channels.&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Assist in the approval of DSM team social content in&nbsp;Khoros&nbsp;and&nbsp;Sprinklr.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Understand&nbsp;key performance indicators and goals including measurable metrics for all social channels. Deliver&nbsp;analytics and reporting for all&nbsp;responsible&nbsp;social channels&nbsp;to&nbsp;property leaders as required.&nbsp;Monitor competitors and industry leaders&rsquo; marketing and social media efforts.&nbsp;</li> <li>Create&nbsp;compelling&nbsp;social media-ready&nbsp;content for all channels. Deploy content as directed by&nbsp;digital&nbsp;social media&nbsp;leadership&nbsp;and property leaders.&nbsp; Develop and recommend schedules for social media content deployment and execute upon approval.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work&nbsp;closely with all marketing and public relations areas both at&nbsp;Boyd Gaming Shared Services in Las Vegas and Dubuque, as well as&nbsp;at the properties. This includes the central design center to ensure there is cohesion among all marketing creative and their&nbsp;digital&nbsp;extensions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with&nbsp;public relations&nbsp;leadership team to assist in and implement&nbsp;PR campaigns as designed.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work&nbsp;with the digital&nbsp;marketing team to&nbsp;execute&nbsp;cohesive marketing&nbsp;campaigns that bridge between web, mobile, SMS, etc., and social media channels.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform&nbsp;other duties as assigned by management.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Closely monitor and respond&nbsp;to guest questions and concerns on reputation management channels including: Yelp, Trip Advisor, Expedia, etc.&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarity with&nbsp;shooting and editing&nbsp;digital photography and videography.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to travel and work non-traditional business hours to meet business needs</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, preferred in Marketing, Journalism or Public Relations.&nbsp;</li> <li>3 - 5&nbsp;years of experience in company directed social media.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Two&nbsp;or more&nbsp;years&nbsp;of&nbsp;casino experience&nbsp;desired.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in&nbsp;digital and&nbsp;social media advertising and managing a budget.&nbsp;</li> <li>Certification in the Google Analytics Individual Qualification&nbsp;Exam.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to write compelling advertising copy with superior command of grammar.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience&nbsp;with social media listening and reporting&nbsp;platforms desired.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with&nbsp;Microsoft&nbsp;and Adobe&nbsp;products.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to capture and edit&nbsp;photographs&nbsp;and video.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in spelling and grammar.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated writing skills.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to establish priorities, work independently, meet deadlines and maintain details.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to think critically and act quickly.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.</li> </ul>
