Responsibilities: <p>LNA and On-Call Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide client with personal&nbsp;care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping</li> <li>Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight, if necessary</li> <li>Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, document observed changes, report any changes to the Director of Nursing</li> <li>Assist client in walking and transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, shopping</li> <li>Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards</li> <li>Ensure client&rsquo;s rights are adhered to</li> <li>Ensure&nbsp;all credentials are kept current</li> <li>Work in client's home environment, facilities, and in office as needed</li> <li>Weekends may be required</li> <li>Ability to work various types of cases and provide coverage where and when necessary</li> <li>Ability to collaborate professionally in a team setting</li> <li>Effective communication necessary with team and clients</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>Requirements<br /><br /></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED</li> <li>Experience in a home care agency a plus</li> <li>Experience working as an LNA on a variety of cases necessary</li> <li>Certification as an LNA</li> <li>Certified CPR and negative 2 -stepTB skin test or chest x-ray</li> <li>CPR certification</li> <li>Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours weekly but up to 40 if necessary</li> <li>Minimum one (1) year of documented experience is preferred</li> <li>Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile</li> <li>Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality</li> <li>Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.&nbsp; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><br /><br />We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.</p>
