And though our properties may be diverse, one thing is universal: all offer the unparalleled quality, service, and support our residents deserve.</p> <p>If you&rsquo;re ready to be a part of our team, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>We are searching for a talented&nbsp;<strong>Director of Talent</strong>&nbsp;to be based out of&nbsp;<strong>Key Tower in downtown Cleveland.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Overview:</strong></p> <p>The Director of Talent will develop and lead Brookfield Properties Multifamily talent strategy, process, and team - creating a competitive advantage for our business by building programs to attract, develop, motivate, and retain our people. The Director will drive all aspects of the company's employee life cycle, including:&nbsp; managing talent acquisition and building the employment brand; providing leadership on the diversity and inclusion strategy and programs; developing and managing the talent review, succession planning and career pathing processes; managing objective setting and performance management; overseeing our associate engagement strategy and program; as well as strategic workforce planning. This person will partner with our leadership team and learning organization to create and execute various talent programs, competency modeling, and career development initiatives and will work with the HR Business Partners in driving these processes within their respective teams.<strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Designs and implements talent management framework, programs, tools, resources and KPIs across the organization that results in developing our pool of talent. Analyzes data to build and align all talent management processes (e.g. capability assessment, succession planning, performance management and talent reviews, etc…) in the business ensuring top talent in the most critical roles. Partners with Learning and Development team to ensure training programs are designed and implemented to meet the capability needs of the business. Collaborates with HR team to ensure job descriptions incorporate consistent, performance standards and incentive programs drive desired behavior.</li><li>Manage full life cycle recruiting function, team and budget ensuring new hires have best-in-class hiring process. This includes developing creative and innovating sourcing and marketing strategies to build robust pipelines of candidates, establishing and managing to defined metrics and KPIs, managing relationships with external vendors, aligning with HRIS on systems capability and metrics and leading, managing and developing the team.</li><li>Supports leadership’s efforts to build organizational culture. This will include leading the associate engagement/cultural assessment process and action planning, building the sector employment brand (internal and external) that aligns to broader Brookfield Properties organization, leading efforts to establish an associate recognition program that drives business results and retains our workforce.</li><li>Provides leadership in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to support the company’s goals related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Collaborate with leadership team to deliver programs and services to support the company strategy and integrating all programs into talent management processes and programs.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>This position requires an Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree in Business or Human Resources.</li> <li>3-4 years of experience in supporting D&amp;I strategy and goals is required.</li> <li>5-7 years of experience in overseeing Talent Acquisition function is required.</li> <li>5-7 years of experience in designing Talent Management programs and processes is required.</li> <li>10+ years of experience of HR Generalist and/or Talent Management is required.</li> <li>3-4 years of experience in supporting various culture initiatives is preferred.</li> <li>Required skills for this position include: <ul> <li>High degree of business acumen and strategic thinking and planning.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across broad range of seniority.</li> <li>Strong coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills.</li> <li>Superior judgement and integrity.</li> <li>The ability to deal with conflict and multiple constituencies while managing multiple simultaneous objectives.</li> <li>Demonstrated problem solving skills to be able to lead a team to make intelligent trade-offs in ambiguous situations.</li> <li>Ability to influence business leaders at a senior level.</li> </ul> </li> <li>This position requires up to 25% travel.</li> </ul>
