The department is growing in anticipation of several exciting initiatives, and it will need a strong Learning Specialist to begin the work that will transform Brookfield into a best-in-class apartment home operator.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: Content Development (50%): <ul><li>Use an array of different media to produce training materials that promote learning through self-study, practice, performance support, socialization, and knowledge-sharing.</li><li>Experience creating well crafted, organized, and professional presentations with a preference towards training content.</li><li>Work with a variety of stakeholders, source documents and vendors to create instructionally sound learning interventions.</li><li>Proficient in MS Word. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult concepts and processes using clear and simple language and visuals.</li><li>History of sparking improvements in learning strategy and content through collaboration and prototyping.</li><li>Develop assessments to measure learner acceptance, comprehension, and application of processes and systems knowledge.</li><li>Support general organization strategy for the learning department.</li></ul> LMS Administration (25%): <ul><li>Support the learning department as an LMS subject matter expert.</li><li>Train leaders and end users to effectively use the LMS to impact learner experience and business goals. </li><li>Regularly communicate updates and data with new team members, leaders, and peers. </li><li>Coordinate training activities and tracking across the enterprise, including any related follow up. </li><li>Actively enable the organization to understand training effectiveness through the LMS tool and reports.</li><li>Run completion reports and complete basic analysis of reports. </li><li>Maintain all department information confidentially and securely.</li></ul> Learning Team Support (25%): <ul><li>Support broader department initiatives with administration, communication, and execution. </li><li>Communicate effectively with learning delivery team, peers, leaders, and other stakeholders</li><li>Maintains centralized department communications and digital workspaces such as department emails, shared drives, and team sites.</li><li>Utilize and update project management system</li><li>General administrative team task such as bill paying and vendor communications. </li><li>Coordinate and maintain master training calendar. </li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>This position requires an Undergraduate Degree in English, Communication, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or Business Administration.</li><li>1 year of required experience in managing the LMS enterprise.</li><li>1–3 years of preferred experience in being accustomed to working in a general office environment. </li><li>Additional preferred experience in instructional design and/or using tools such as Adobe Indesign, Captivate, or Articulate. </li><li>Required skills for this position include: Microsoft Office, general computer proficiency, LMS, time management, and written communications. </li><li>Preferred skills for this position include: presentation building/making, HR knowledge, and mystery shopping. </li><li>This position requires up to 5% travel.<br /></li></ul>Great Incentives!
