Our Native Apps team has a built-in, dedicated audience of, the work of our mobile developers is accessed by millions of Canadians seeking information and entertainment on a National level.</p> <p>We need a new iOS Developer who wants to use Swift and modularized code with pods to enhance and reinvent our native apps, including the CBC News and CBC Sports apps.</p> <p><strong>Who you are and where are you now?</strong></p> <p>You are a mobile developer with expertise on the iOS platform. You have a portfolio of links to apps you have developed. Requirements: <p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The goods: You have developed more than a couple of mobile apps for iOS. You can explain why you made certain choices and how you would improve the functionality using newer technology.</li> <li>The hands-on expertise. Your strengths lie in Apple technologies - and you are are constantly researching, chatting and working with the latest and greatest. You are familiar with Objective C, Swift, Git and CocoaPods as an iOS Developer.</li> <li>The education. A Computer Science, Engineering degree or equivalent is preferred, but we know not everyone gains their app development skills this way.</li> <li>The desire to learn. You have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and respond to change by learning and adapting.</li> <li>The communication skills. You know how to listen and relay empathy and understanding for diverse perspectives.</li> <li>The confidence and the humility. Your powers of observation help you understand your audience and communicate with the right level of detail. You are open to the ideas of others.</li> <li>The creativity and adaptability. You can adapt quickly, innovate solutions and embrace the new while accepting the ambiguous.</li> <li>The Agile experience. You believe in the Agile methodology deeply but you are flexible and open to the real world twists and turns.</li> <li>The extra knowledge.
