This is a true leadership opportunity with a focus on coaching, hiring and developing data scientists, data engineers and machine intelligence developers. You have experience in applying machine learning, software development and data science at scale. Responsibilities: <p><strong>How you will make a difference, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Help develop a culture of collaboration, learning and improvement across the CBC&rsquo;s Digital Products department.</li> <li>Lead a team of Machine Intelligence Developers and Data Scientists providing mentorship, coaching direction, formal performance evaluation and access to professional development, all resulting in happy and satisfied team members.</li> <li>Actively grow and promote the team through presentations and participation in job fairs, networking events and digital networking. Participate fully in the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of new talent.</li> <li>Champion the work of the team and the individuals, removing roadblocks and gaining recognition for achievements. Build strong relationships with and represent the team to, our primary stakeholders.</li> <li>Contribute to and execute on the department strategy developed with the Senior Director.</li> <li>Ensure the continuous evolution of the department through continuous improvement of workflow and adoption of new technologies and new software development practices.</li> </ul>
