You will enable data driven decision making for various business groups by crafting scalable solutions that retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources and presenting it in a digestible and actionable format.</p> <p>We are in the midst of implementing a new CDP platform, will be implementing a CRM platform this fiscal year and will be increasing business use of our existing DMP platform. Responsibilities: <p><strong>How you will make an impact:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build data support for our personalization and experimentation efforts. You will: <ul> <li>Solve problems from statistical test automation to building real-time M/L applications.</li> <li>Work through the data value chain to ensure optimal data design and efficiency.</li> <li>Implement a data analysis framework to analyze and test models effectively.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Assist with pipeline and model deployment. <ul> <li>Build, validate, and deploy machine learning solutions. You will:</li> <li>Help us better engage with Canadians and maximize ROI and advertising performance.</li> <li>Help iterate on our machine learning infrastructure to ensure it continues to be robust and scalable.</li> <li>Experiment. You will work with machine learning algorithms to create personalized experiences uniquely customized for Canadians.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Collaborate. You will work with individuals, teams and a community of practice to ensure the highest quality product is developed and best practices are followed.</li> <li>Continuously pursue knowledge. You will: <ul> <li>Embrace build-measure-learn processes in our Agile environment and stay on top of the latest technology developments.</li> <li>Use advanced problem solving skills to navigate unstructured projects that may require innovative approaches while taking into consideration resources, timing and other constraints.</li> <li>Test results using historical data and optimize efficiently in production.</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The education. You have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field or equivalent experience.</li> <li>The experience. You have 5 years of experience in a similar role dealing with very large datasets and multiple data sources. You have experience in the use of statistical analysis and machine learning tools, packages and languages. You can innovate custom algorithmic solutions to machine learning problems</li> </ul> <ul> <li>The technical skills. You have strong scripting and engineering skills in at least one scripting language and advanced proficiency in using query languages. Your hands on expertise includes: Google Cloud Platform, Python, Colab/Jupyter notebooks, Hadoop/MapReduce, GCP, Databricks and AWS, Adobe / Amplitude Analytics, SQL.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>The passion.
