Our new Integration Developer will implement and enhance the systems, workflows and presentation of A/V streaming on all platforms. Responsibilities: <p><strong>How you will contribute to the team, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide technical expertise for online digital Audio/Video systems. You will integrate multiple complex systems to ensure the successful delivery of A/V content.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal groups. You will work closely with Engineering, Media Presentation, IT, Content Producers, Revenue, etc. to achieve integration.</li> <li>Build and implement key deliverables. You will develop delivery systems for streamlining live Audio/Video workflows; middleware custom tools using various APIs; and more.</li> <li>Manage the production systems. You will oversee the complete development and support lifecycle of specific systems. You will provide quality product support to end-users.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Post-secondary degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.</li> <li>The direct experience. You have three years experience in software development (Java, Python, PHP), with a focus on integrating systems. You have a proven track record of administering an Audio Video delivery system. You have experience operating in Windows, Apple and Unix environments and have a working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Docker/Containers, Cloud services.</li> <li>The hands-on A/V technical knowledge. You have a passion for the technologies and workflows relating to online A/V presentation, with hands-on experience using: <ul> <li>Akamai or other CDN media delivery.</li> <li>Video Streaming Delivery Protocols (RTMP, HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, UDP).</li> <li>Video Formats and Codecs (HLS, HDS, MP4, MPEG-DASH, CMAF, AV1, etc.).</li> <li>Video Encoders (FFMPEG, Digital Rapids, Vantage, Elemental).</li> </ul> </li> <li>The desire to learn. You have a keen interest in AI, Machine Learning, Product Intelligence. You can quickly pick up new tools and technologies including Video CMS such as the Platform or Brightcove; Google Advertising Platform (DFP) or Freewheel.</li> <li>The communication skills. You know how to listen and relay empathy and understanding for diverse perspectives.</li> <li>The Agile approach. You believe in the Agile methodology deeply, but you are flexible and open to the real-world twists and turns.</li> <li>The flexibility.
