Responsibilities: <p><strong>How you will make a difference on a daily basis:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with fellow web developers, the design team, managers and QA in an Agile Scrum environment to: <ul> <li>Provide domain expertise</li> <li>Ensure the highest quality product is developed and best practices are followed</li> <li>Develop strategic unit tests to maintain strong quality assurance at every step</li> </ul> </li> <li>Use the latest tools and technologies to develop web-based APIs and robust client applications with progressive software paradigms (SOLID, Design Patterns, SOA, Microservices, etc.)</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A well-rounded combination of education and experience. A university degree with a technology focus is preferred, but we know not everyone gains their programming skills this way. You have some experience working on a public-facing product.</li> <li>The hands-on expertise. You have hands-on professional experience developing web-based applications using: <ul> <li>C# or Java</li> <li>JavaScript</li> <li>MV* JS frameworks, or React/Redux</li> <li>SQL Server or other relational databases</li> </ul> </li> <li>The passion. You have a passion for information and technology and you are enthusiastic about the opportunity to link the two pieces together.</li> <li>The desire to learn. You have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and respond to change by learning and adapting.
