Overview: <br />This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of on-site chemical cleaning projects including supervision of staff and interaction with customers. Position is located in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Oversees chemical cleaning projects on client job sites</li> <li>Completes the required paperwork for the projects</li> <li>Supervises 4+ chemical cleaning personnel including performance reviews, progressive discipline, and ongoing mentoring and coaching</li> <li>Monitoring and analysis of schedules and status of contractors during all phases of the project</li> <li>Converses with customers &ndash; addresses any customer concerns immediately and escalates issues as required</li> <li>Estimating and forecasting costs, time, manpower, and equipment</li> <li>Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the project master schedules of the project</li> <li>Aiding in the bidding and pricing of jobs</li> <li>Preparing a variety of reports for management such as progress reports</li> <li>Attends monthly safety meetings</li> <li>Attends monthly supervisor meetings</li> <li>Works with CEDA&rsquo;s policies, procedures, and safe work practices</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>4 &ndash; 5 years experience with&nbsp;supervising a team of 4 or more individuals</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of directly related industry experience</li> <li>Class 3 driver&rsquo;s license with a clean abstract</li> <li>You are willing and able to meet the travel requirements of this role (about 25% of role)</li> <li>Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as required</li> <li>You have a working knowledge of equipment such as skid pumps and chemical units</li> <li>Able to produce a reasonable criminal background check</li> <li>Able to produce a negative test result for drug and alcohol</li> <li>You are highly motivated and career-oriented</li> <li>You demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to health and safety</li> <li>You are positive and&nbsp;professional in your approach</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <div> <h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg"> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
