Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Operate and maintain hot oilers, and various specialty equipment.</li> <li>90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground!</li> <li>Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor-intensive capacity.</li> <li>Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment &ndash; our experienced crew has your back.</li> <li>Ensure safety for all team members and property.</li> <li>Work as part of a team and follow directions from supervision.</li> <li>Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.</li> <li>Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment.</li> <li>Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents.</li> <li>Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time.</li> <li>Provide guidance to Laborers as required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <section id="st-jobDescription" class="job-section"> <div class="wysiwyg"> <ul> <li>Valid Class 1 or 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required.</li> <li>Driving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10, 13 speed, doesn&rsquo;t matter you will pass CEDA&rsquo;s driver assessment with flying colours).</li> <li>Experience operating vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools is an asset.</li> <li>Experience in an industrial environment is an asset.</li> <li>Willingness to get your SCOT (Safety Construction Orientation Training) certification.</li> <li>Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Skills:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong mechanical aptitude.</li> <li>Very comfortable with manual transmissions.</li> <li>Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment.</li> <li>Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis).</li> <li>Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </section> <section id="st-additionalInformation" class="job-section"> <div> <h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg"> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
