Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Replace piping systems efficiently and accurately to ensure smooth operation of equipment during and after the shutdown.</li> <li>Conduct repairs and maintenance on steam generation systems, including boilers and associated components.</li> <li>Perform repairs and replacements on tanks and vessels, adhering to safety standards and quality guidelines.</li> <li>Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete tasks within the specified timeframe.</li> <li>Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.</li> <li>Document work performed, including any modifications or improvements made during the shutdown project.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <section id="st-jobDescription" class="job-section"> <div class="wysiwyg"> <ul> <li>Journeyman Pipefitter certification required. Will consider Apprentice Pipefitters with relevant experience.</li> <li>Proven experience in replacing piping systems and conducting repairs on steam generation equipment.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of tank and vessel repair techniques, including welding and fabrication.</li> <li>Must be confident in working within confined spaces.</li> <li><strong>Extensive knowledge &amp; experience working with steam generation.</strong></li> <li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics related to piping systems and equipment.</li> <li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and project stakeholders.</li> <li>Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.</li> <li>Willingness to work extended hours as required to complete the shutdown project on schedule.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Requirements:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Valid class 5 licence (non GDL) with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required.</li> <li>Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.</li> <li>Certificates: H2S Alive, CSO or CSTS2020, Fall Protection, Confined Space &ndash; Monitor &amp; Entry, Standard first aid with CPR are required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </section> <section id="st-additionalInformation" class="job-section"> <div> <h2 class="title">Additional Information</h2> </div> <div class="wysiwyg"> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
