And we're agile, which means you can make a difference with your career, while learning, growing, and having fun!</p> <p><strong>Proactive Service Engineer</strong></p> <p>Proactive Service Engineer is part of the programming team that monitors and diagnoses active client system errors. You would be responsible for reviewing audio-visual control system code, audio files, and other equipment-related configurations remotely. When reviewing active errors within a system the Constant Connect Engineer will determine cause and either correct the problem or engage the appropriate team to get resolved.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Monitor a service alert board of client AV system errors.</li> <li>Remotely troubleshoot and debug complex AV systems.</li> <li>Determine severity, cause, and possible resolution of any AV system error found.</li> <li>Will review control system programming and utilize code debugging tools to identify control code errors.</li> <li>Maintain software project documentation in the company database.</li> <li>Professionally represent Cenero clients showing empathy, patience, and competence.</li> <li>Maintain a positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team-centric environment.</li> <li>Complete training programs and gain certifications for manufacturers, industry associations, and company as required.</li> <li>Demonstrating the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and projects, the Constant Connect Engineer will be able to think independently within the specified guideline and effectively interact with employees and clients.</li> <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Experience&nbsp;and/or Education</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent work experience.</li> <li>Minimum of one year of Crestron, AMX, or Extron control system programming experience.</li> <li>Familiarity with GUI design and graphics applications is required.</li> <li>Experience with control systems, videoconferencing, switching hardware, audio DSP setup, and calibration.</li> <li>A minimum of three years of on-site installation or commissioning experience is required.</li> <li>Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, addressing, firewalls, routers, and VPN.</li> <li>Familiarity with Cisco, Lifesize, and Polycom video conference codes.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks as well as changing priorities.</li> <li>Possess the ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Crestron and AMX certifications are preferred.</li> <li>CTS or CTS-D certification is preferred.</li> <li>Crestron CTI-P301 Completed/Passed.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Physical Demands&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
