Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package

Overview: Provide support in managing dynamic on-premise and cloud-based architecture consisting of virtualized resources that support multi-tiered high-availability cluster applications, services, databases, and capabilities using various cloud services, platforms, and operating systems. Coordinate with department leadership to plan, design, and schedule the release of all software, hardware, and operating system updates.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Function as an individual contributor and work under moderate supervision designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's application systems and/or IT Infrastructure.</li> <li>Provide an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's computer systems.</li> <li>Perform moderate to complex application administration activities such as creating, modifying, and deleting users, and optimizing remote access and security access for messaging systems, databases, and web applications.</li> <li>Develop and enhance processes and technical documentation, and create back-up procedures, test plans, and reports.</li> <li>Analyze systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements.</li> <li>May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>UNIX/Linux/NetApp System Administration,</li> <li>Linux Server administration and engineering,</li> <li>System Administration, Installation, Configuration, troubleshooting and Performance tuning of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SuSE Linux SP3 installation,</li> <li>Environments: NetApp, EMC VNX, Solaris 8, 9, 10, 11.1,11.2 and Redhat Linux 5.0, 6.0, Suse Linux 11, and</li> <li>Software: NetApp Data OnTap, EMC Unisphere, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File System, and Solaris Volume Manager. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. EOE.</li> </ul> <br /> Education:<br /> <br /> Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field. *Employer will accept three or four-year degrees. 24 months of experience in job offered or computer-related occupation.
