Overview: The role of the Business Analyst is to assist in analyzing business problems, identifying gaps, and providing technical support in areas around basic to moderate information systems. This role assists with several requirements throughout the project life cycle and involves an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. This role is a member of the Business Analysis Team and reports directly to the Business Analysis, Director. <br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Working remotely within the United States is acceptable for this position.</strong></span>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop documentation related to moderately complex projects and information systems.</li> <li>Apply business analysis knowledge to review and analyze systems problems to identify solutions.</li> <li>Provide support in developing use cases, workflow diagrams, and gap analysis to create or modify requirements documents and design specifications.</li> <li>Analyze user requirements and client business needs using standard procedures.</li> <li>Ensure bi-directional traceability of requirements.</li> <li>Track and report the status of work assignments and escalate issues and risks.</li> <li>Function as a subject matter expert for multiple modules.</li> <li>Act as a liaison between the client and the technology teams.</li> <li>You will be responsible for the delivery of the Detailed System Design Document (DSDD) for multiple modules.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>You have a Bachelor’s degree.</li> <li>You have 5+ years of business analysis experience. </li> <li>You have healthcare industry with domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid or healthcare verticals.</li> <li>You have experience with Claims and Encounters, Eligibility, or Reference.</li> <li>You have Provider Management and Enrollment System experience.</li> <li>You have knowledge of Claims Adjudication and Medicaid Pricing.</li> <li>You have experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).</li> <li>You can elicit, document, analyze and verify requirements.</li> <li>You understand the requirements management life cycle.</li> </ul>
