Overview: The role of the Associate Java Developer is to support system design, develop and implement components of the application and program, and maintain and modify applications, programs, or system software. This role involves working under moderate supervision to design applications, functions, and programs. This role is a member of the Development team and reports directly to the EDPS Technical Manager. Working remotely within the United States is acceptable for this position.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Function as an individual contributor and work under moderate supervision with clearly defined guidelines and direction.</li> <li>Collaborate with EDPS Development, Operations, Business Analysis, and Testing teams to understand the system design and business functions.</li> <li>Participate in internal solution design discussions with other senior team members.</li> <li>Document software component specifications in detailed technical design.</li> <li>Develop code in accordance with the system design and coding standards with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Create test data and scripts to support testing.</li> <li>Analyze code to find causes of errors and revises programs.</li> <li>Participate in code review sessions and demonstrate a good understanding of the agile/scrum framework.</li> <li>Provide customer support in assisting with the presentation of demos to the client (including but not limited to facilitating the presentation, assisting in presenting small components of the demo).</li> <li>Develop and accurately maintain program documentation according to CMS XLC / SDLC template standards.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>You have 2-3 years of experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.</li> <li>You have a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.</li> <li>You have excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).</li> <li>You can rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and independently perform a variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.</li> <li>You have experience working in an Agile environment.</li> <li>You have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and are fact and data-oriented.</li> <li>You are focused on deadlines and the closure of issues or problems.</li> <li>If you have experience working in a Cloud environment (ideally AWS cloud), it would be &ldquo;a plus&rdquo;.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong><em>About Us:</em></strong></p> <p>At CNSI, we strive to be the market leader and most trusted partner for innovative and transformative technology-enabled solutions that improve health outcomes and reduce costs.
