Overview: The role of the Senior Developer is to support system design, develop and implement components of the application and program, and maintain and modify applications, programs, or system software.&nbsp;<strong><em>Working remotely within the United States is acceptable for this position.</em></strong> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -40px; top: -20.0139px;">&nbsp;</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Support the team in completing gap analysis and analyzing impact of system software.</li> <li>Work on Proof of Concepts as assigned by team lead.</li> <li>Participate in requirement review sessions.</li> <li>Develop code in accordance with the system design and coding standards with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Create test data and scripts for unit testing.</li> <li>Perform unit testing for the developed codes.</li> <li>Analyze code to find causes of errors and fix the issues.</li> <li>Participate in code review sessions.</li> <li>Demonstrate understanding of how software applications and programs are developed, deployed, and maintained.</li> <li>Demonstrate having a strong knowledge of development methodologies, best practices, and procedures, and apply them to projects to ensure that development objectives are achieved.</li> <li>Demonstrate having a good understanding of agile/scrum framework.</li> <li>Possess unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellence.</li> <li>Provide customer support in assisting with the presentation of demos to the client (including but not limited to facilitating the presentation, assisting in presenting small components of the demo).</li> <li>Assist Associate Developers in ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices.</li> <li>Support technical and developmental mentoring of Associate Developers.</li> <li>Respond to all support ticket requests within the time frame outlined in applicable Service Level Agreements.</li> <li>Develop and accurately maintain program documentation according to CMS XLC / SDLC template standards.</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -43px; top: 26.7639px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).</li> <li>Detail oriented, able to work independently, self-motivated, proactive team player.</li> <li>Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently perform a variety of complicated tasks.
