This role represents the core of the SQA senior leadership responsible for the implementation of SQA Quality Standards &amp; Best Practices as well as pursuing a goal of a zero-defect production environment for assigned programs. This role will manage SQA resources within the assigned core business competency. CNSI supports a high-volume healthcare data system that is accessed through multiple web portals. This high-volume system operates out of multiple data centers and must reliably be available to its clients 7x24x365.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <p><strong>Test Management:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provides day-to-day management and supervision of Test Engineers within the assigned business competency and works under minimal supervision from senior management</li> <li>Accountable and Responsible for the implementation and management of SQA Quality Standards within both CNSI Internal and Client Projects</li> <li>Uses tools and best practices to systematically measure and improve Software Quality Assurance</li> <li>Manages the team on automation, providing guidance and support</li> <li>Provides defect management support to user acceptance Software Quality Assurance team</li> <li>Identifies and escalates risks and issues to senior management, assisting in providing guidance to develop solutions</li> <li>Ensures team adherence to established controls, standards, and methodologies. Reviews the development and implementation of all test deliverables, ensuring quality and on-time delivery</li> <li>Provides customer-facing presentations on quality</li> <li>Possesses unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellence</li> <li>Keeps abreast of new technology and market developments</li> </ul> <p><strong><br />Governance Management:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manages and makes decisions by metrics as well as provides an executive Software Quality Assurance dashboard for projects and releases</li> <li>Partners with peers to implement a reusable business framework, flushing out missed requirements and test scenarios</li> <li>Manages continuous team improvement to eliminate defects before releasing them into production</li> <li>Manages test engineers to create traceable test cases and defects</li> <li>Manages the team on automation, providing guidance and support</li> <li>Adheres to CNSI CMMi &amp; TMMi standards and processes</li> <li>Represents project in CMMI evaluations</li> <li>Manages resources (people, technology) across the Software Quality Assurance team</li> <li>Partners with customers and analyzes issues and problems from the customer perspective</li> <li>A key contributor to Technology Training programs (updates, needs, improvements)</li> </ul> <p><strong><br />Talent Management:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conducts 350 Degree reviews for team members</li> <li>Recruits highly skilled, motivated leaders and individual contributors</li> <li>Conducts performance evaluations and corrective action plans, measuring key performance indicators (KPI) while coordinating with Human Resources</li> <li>Responsible for administrative functions related to recruiting, training, developing inter-personal skills among team members, conducting performance and annual reviews, setting SMART goals, recommending salary increases and adjustments, ensuring timekeeping compliance, and taking disciplinary actions when necessary</li> <li>Assists in ensuring appropriate use of all available resources within a functional team</li> <li>Ensures proper use of unassigned time</li> <li>Helps resolve conflicts affecting people and project priorities</li> <li>Assists in facilitating the performance management process with the Software Quality Assurance team, ensuring alignment with employee career goals and Software Quality Assurance team objectives</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /><br /> <ul> <li>Demonstrates strong knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, best practices, and procedures; and applies them to projects to ensure that test objectives are achieved</li> <li>Strong time management skills (ability to work on multiple assignments at the same time)</li> <li>Strong technical skills in automation languages (Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin)</li> <li>Experience with DevOps concepts (CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.)</li> <li>Critical thinker (sees the big picture)</li> <li>SDLC Expertise in Waterfall, Iterative, Agile</li> <li>Healthcare, Insurance experience is preferred</li> </ul>
