Overview: <br />Working under direct supervision of the Manager, Small Business Team, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Small Business Sales Representative establishes new accounts through outbound phone calls to leads, new and existing customers. The Sales Rep develops and manages long-term sales relationships with the company's small business customers. Through assessing customer needs and providing viable technology options, the Sales Rep ensures account growth in line with individual and company goals.
Responsibilities: <br /> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td width="100%"> <ul> <li>Researches and engages appropriate internal and external resources to develop IT solutions to meet customer needs <ul> <li>Engages vendors, tech support, Ingram Micro, etc. as needed</li> <li>Develops customer solutions based on customer needs and input from appropriate resources</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="100%"> <ul> <li>Engages appropriate Connection resources to provide appropriate pricing for customers while maintaining maximum profit margin. <ul> <li>Ensures accuracy of information based on proposed solution.</li> <li>Delivers quotes and pricing within customer time constraints.</li> <li>Revises quotes and pricing based on feedback from customers or the customers' changing needs.</li> <li>Ensures customer is kept apprised of any stock limitations or other issues that arise for solution being proposed.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="100%"> <ul> <li>Keeps apprised of most up-to-date and state-of-the-art solutions through training and other educational activities. <ul> <li>Attends vendor training, some of which will be mandatory.</li> <li>Reviews company intranet for any relevant changes to vendor information, etc.</li> <li>Uses PPCU training as necessary.</li> <li>Engages vendors at the site to explore their products and technologies/offerings</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="100%"> <ul> <li>Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.</li> </ul> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table>
