Overview: <br />Working under minimal supervision of the Sr. Director Technical Services Ops, the Master Scheduler develops the production load plan and capacity model in the company&rsquo;s load planning tools. The Master Scheduler reviews order data models to ensure a balanced and level work balance is loaded, forecasts order demand and soft allocation, reviews capacity to determine work schedule adjustment, and communicates with production coordinators on all schedule updates. Serves as subject matter expert on the scheduling software and load capacity application and provides training to other team members.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Works with the PSC Team (Project, Scheduling, and Coordination) and SEG team (Solutions Engineering Group) to plan and forecast production order activities within the TIDC.</li> <li>Builds the forecasting model based on historic data modeling along with the sales forecast from the bi-weekly S&amp;OP call.</li> <li>Develops balance between existing and future client demand</li> <li>Develops Master Production Schedule in company system</li> <li>Forecasts order demand and soft allocation</li> <li>Produces KPI reporting data</li> <li>Utilizes production forecasts to schedule configuration work</li> <li>Adjusts late work schedules per capacity review</li> <li>Reviews orders and estimates completion dates to ensure a balanced and level workload</li> <li>Ensures adherence to Master Scheduling policies and Service Level Agreements</li> <li>Works with Project Coordinators on planning large complex rollouts</li> <li>Serves as subject matter expert on the scheduling software application</li> <li>Analyzes trends within assigned operations, including contact volumes, contact patterns, staff productivity, staff capacity, and resource allocation, and uses the analysis results to forecast contact arrival patterns</li> <li>Provides quarterly efficiency reports to executive team</li> <li>Selects procedures and techniques to develop best-practice schedules for projects</li> <li>Communicates with Technical Services Manager on variance in data model compared to actuals</li> <li>Ensures the right resources are available internally to meet customer volume demands.</li> <li>Gathers performance data and measures the output of a department or unit to determine achievement or variance with production schedules.</li> <li>Produces reports that evaluate operational capacity and identifies areas where improvements can be implemented.</li> <li>Conducts planning meetings twice a day</li> <li>Evaluates data inclusive of enterprise requirements for planning information</li> <li>Reviews actual vs target run rates</li> <li>Communicates demand information across a facility so that everyone is aware of volume and metrics</li> <li>Provides guidance on load plan to daily schedule</li> <li>Provides updates on production schedule to appropriate team members.</li> <li>Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Email, PowerPoint, Word, and Advanced Excel skills.</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include creating presentations, creating documents in Word to included advanced formatting, creating spreadsheets to include the use of macros.</li> <li>Working knowledge of applications used to manage and track projects from discovery to production.</li> <li>Working knowledge of scheduling tools</li> <li>Working knowledge of an ERP system and supply chain management and order processing with an understanding of the lifecycle of a customer order.</li> <li>Knowledge of sales organization and sales process.</li> <li>Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with ability to leverage forecasting and scheduling tools to predict order volume to plan for appropriate staffing requirements</li> <li>Data analysis with ability to prioritize, organize and summarize data from multiple sources.</li> <li>Organized with ability to document activities, complete priorities, and deadlines.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with ability to converse in a professional manner with customers, ask difficult questions that are critical to project success, and question answers provided by production resources.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail/process with ability to drill down several layers to get the core issues.</li> <li>Quick study with ability to master a situation or learn new things with minimum direction or training</li> <li>Flexible in adapting to changing conditions and priorities.</li> </ul>
