Overview: <br /> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <p>Working under direct supervision of the Manager Sales, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Inside Sales Support Representative is assigned to one or more Executive, Senior Executive and Presidential Account Managers to assist them in the day-to-day fulfillment of orders and resolving customer issues on assigned accounts. Acts as a support resource for the day-to-day transactions to allow the Account Manager time and opportunity to network through their existing accounts to expand the business. Minimizes problem order situations by proactively following up on order processing and customer service issues for resolution. In addition to providing sales support, the Inside Sales Support Representative makes outbound prospecting calls to help engage new customers/business for the assigned Account Manager(s).</p> </div> </div> </div> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">&nbsp;</h2>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Handles incoming calls and assists on calls when needed. Places orders for the AM. Serves customers at the highest level in order to assist in closing any potential sales. Supports the AM in servicing the new account or the additional business for an existing account, helping to ensure account retention and growth.</li> <li>Generates leads within an assigned territory or vertical market. Identifies additional contacts within an existing book of business to afford the account manager an opportunity to penetrate accounts. With guidance from the manager or account manager, makes proactive calls to prospective and/or existing clients to uncover transactional and/or project-based IT initiatives.</li> <li>Troubleshoots problems with accounts, stock, credit issues, and shipping issues and open/backlogged orders.</li> <li>Handles all aspects of preparation for orders to be placed. Prepares quotes, researches tech questions, coordinates large bids, and organizes Callback and other databases.</li> <li>Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.</li> </ul>
