Overview: <br />The Accounts Acquisition Representative will be responsible for identifying, profiling, prospecting and generating new business leads/orders for sales of a specific IT manufacturer&rsquo;s line of products. Works closely with Business Development Managers and Field Sales Reps to open new accounts and grow new revenues over time. Profiling and Prospecting are a big part of this role using both telephone and email. Equally important is engaging field sales resources and coordinating webinars and onsite client sales meetings that lead to new orders.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Excellent telephone prospecting skills</li> <li>Persuasive and a self-starter with ability to work on their own and generate prospects</li> <li>Collaborative with ability to work with manufacturers, outside reps at Connection, and other stakeholders</li> <li>Business acumen with ability to make good business decisions</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask, work well under pressure and meet deadlines</li> <li>Adaptable with ability to shift with changing priorities</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Current or prior experience working in the Computer Reseller Industry with ability to translate technical information into easily understood concepts</li> <li>Proven experience marketing computer products, utilizing marketing databases, outbound calling and emailing, and working with customers, and manufacturers.</li> <li>Current or prior experience working in the Computer Reseller Industry is a MUST. Candidate needs to have knowledge of the Reseller Industry and have worked in this role before.</li> <li>Experience cold-calling and working with Large Enterprise Accounts are highly preferred.</li> <li>Potential to grow into an outside field sales rep within assigned region</li> </ul>
