Overview: <br />The Sr. Manager of Cloud Managed Services is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hyper-scale Cloud MSP practice. The Sr. Manager leads a team of remotely located cloud engineers staffed 24x7x365 supporting Connection customers. The Sr. Manager is responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing proactive management of Connection Cloud managed services customers. The Sr. Manager utilizes a customer-centric approach, focuses on employee development, and works with other stakeholders on continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provides technical mentorship and guidance to direct reports</li> <li>Responsible for overseeing team initiatives to include contract management, service level management, operations management, and reporting</li> <li>Acts as an escalation point for critical issues</li> <li>Defines requirements and solutions for services opportunities per request</li> <li>Develops internal processes and documentation</li> <li>Collaborates with other teams to create consistent, clear, professional content</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Leadership skills with demonstrated experience leading a managed or professional services engineering team</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Analytical approach to resolving complex issues or opportunities</li> <li>Ability to balance priorities of multiple requirements from multiple people</li> <li>Solid understanding of ITIL processes and principles</li> <li>Advanced working knowledge of Azure and/or AWS or GCP Cloud solutions</li> </ul> <br /> <br />
