Overview: <br />Working under the general supervision of the Manager, Inside Solution Architects (MISA), the Inside Solutions Architect (ISA) provides pre-sale technical consulting to advise and recommend technology solutions of moderate to advanced complexity to clients, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval. The ISA works directly with account executives to engage with clients. The ISA assesses the client's needs utilizing business systems analysis and designs a solution that fits the functional requirements of the client. The ISA, as a solution provider, exercises discretion and independent judgment in decision making during the design of the solution, considering pricing which meets the client&rsquo;s budgetary requirements. The ISA strategizes with their assigned sales team on IT solution opportunities. The ISA acquires and maintains various technical certifications pertaining to their technical specialty areas.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Collaborates with partners to design technical solutions as needed.</li> <li>Advises on pricing programs and deal registration.</li> <li>Serves as subject matter expert to Account Managers on technology solutions.</li> <li>Attends applicable industry and manufacturer training sessions to increase knowledge in respective practice area.</li> <li>Achieves vendor certifications through online or onsite training.</li> <li>Participates in a contributing role on one or more Solution Development teams and maintains good attendance, on-time, high-quality work product.</li> <li>Works with peers including Field Solution Architects (FSAs) and Practice Engineers on internal tactical development initiatives, such as building new solutions and services for the TSG advanced technology portfolio.</li> <li>Assists with the building of internal organizational processes and go-to-market initiatives.</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <br /> <br /> <ul> <li>Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Cisco WebEx and relevant internal business systems.</li> <li>Working knowledge of respective practice area technologies and related product solutions (datacenter, networking, security)</li> <li>High aptitude to stay current and train in related technology areas</li> <li>Account planning skills with experience in up-sell and cross-sell strategies.</li> <li>Articulate with ability to clearly demonstrate the value proposition to the customer.</li> <li>Adept at providing technical solutions based on customer needs per the practice area</li> </ul>
