Overview: <br />The Technical Sales Executive (TSE) is a technically oriented sales role responsible for the solution sales growth of the Red Hat line within the Connection Technical Sales Organization client base.
Responsibilities: <br /><br /> <ul> <li>Working both with Sales Account Executives as well as autonomously the TSE owns the development and execution of related sales campaigns focused on leveraging Red Hat.</li> <li>The successful TSE develops strong relationships with both the internal and partner-based sales team, internal and partner-based engineering teams as well as key technical customer contacts and leverages these relationships to sell Information Technology products.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>This is a remote position with up to 50% travel to customer sites in the&nbsp;<strong>Midwest.</strong></li> <li>Technical certifications in data center-related technologies or manufacturers (e.g., VMware, EMC, Microsoft, Cisco, RedHat, HP EG, Dell ESG, Amazon AWS) preferred</li> <li>A minimum of 5 years of sales experience</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Marketing or similar discipline</li> <li>Knowledge of IT solutions and competitive landscape - Provides input into the development of business products/services; understands and follows multi-business protocols</li> <li>Experience leading others in their skills development</li> <li>Practical knowledge of container and related container management solutions, virtualization technologies, and cloud-related product sets</li> </ul>
