You&rsquo;ll also enjoy a generous paid time off package that includes not only vacation and sick time, but also Wellness and Volunteer Time Off days. <br /> <br /><br /><br />Working under direct supervision of the Manager Sales, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Inside Sales Support Representative is assigned to one or more Executive, Senior Executive and Presidential Account Managers to assist them in the day-to-day fulfillment of orders and resolving customer issues on assigned accounts. Acts as a support resource for the day-to-day transactions to allow the Account Manager time and opportunity to network through their existing accounts to expand business. Minimizes problem order situations by proactively following up on order processing and customer service issues for resolution. In addition to providing sales support, the Inside Sales Support Representative makes outbound prospecting calls to help engage new customers/business for the assigned Account Manager(s).
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Handles incoming calls and assists on calls when needed. Places orders for the AM. Serves customers at the highest level in order to assist in closing any potential sales. Supports the AM in servicing the new account or the additional business for an existing account, helping to ensure account retention and growth.</li> <li>Generates leads within an assigned territory or vertical market. Identifies additional contacts within an existing book of business to afford the account manager an opportunity to penetrate accounts. With guidance from the manager or account manager, makes proactive calls to prospective and/or existing clients to uncover transactional and/or project-based IT initiatives.</li> <li>Troubleshoots problems with accounts, stock, credit issues, and shipping issues and open/backlogged orders.</li> <li>Handles all aspects of preparation for orders to be placed. Prepares quotes, researches tech questions, coordinates large bids, and organizes Callback and other databases.</li> <li>Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate a keyboard for data entry.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to utilize email and create a document or simple spreadsheet.</li> <li>Attention to detail in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials</li> <li>Discreet with demonstrated ability to work in a confidential executive environment using good judgment while acting as an ambassador for the company</li> <li>Customer-oriented with ability to listen and anticipate the needs of the customer in order to provide excellent service.</li> <li>Possess interpersonal skills to develop relationships with internal/external customers and business partners</li> <li>Analytical with the ability to identify issues and escalate to appropriate resources</li> <li>Organized with the ability to multitask and manage priorities</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.</li> <li>Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities</li> <li>Analytical with ability to draw conclusions from data, systematic and rational</li> <li>Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication, in particular creating professional emails and exhibiting excellent telephone skills.</li> <li>Conceptual with ability to conceive mentally, formulate ideas, use imagination to achieve results</li> <li>Decisive with ability to make a prompt determination and substantiate decisions if challenged.</li> <li>Detail-oriented with item-by-item focus, meticulous attention to detail with ability to proofread for accuracy</li> <li>Intuitive with ability to perceive others' feelings and motives quickly from subtle signals</li> <li>Organized state of mind with ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Preferred Competencies:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Previous experience in an Account Manager position or a supporting sales role.</li> </ul>
