This role will lead discovery conversations with Connection Enterprise Solutions customers and prospects on their current and future Microsoft Surface Pro and solution needs, participate in meetings, briefings and quarterly business reviews to uncover new Microsoft opportunities while owning the overall pipeline of Microsoft Surface Pro opportunities for their territory. This is a sales role driving company-wide Microsoft Surface Pro sales, including setting sales strategy in cooperation with the Connection Enterprise sales teams, Marketing, Product Management, Connection Inc. and the Microsoft channel team. Your responsibilities will also include aligning the sales efforts and driving proactive field engagement between the Connection Enterprise Solutions and Microsoft field sales organizations for both prospects and clients.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintains a strong understanding of the latest partner's products and solutions and Connection&rsquo;s solution set around partner.</li> <li>Develops net new partner sales opportunities by data mining and analyzing current Connection sales data and trends to identify new targets and underpenetrated Connections accounts and sales reps for partner products.</li> <li>Maximizes partner's deal registration opportunities by monitoring and participating in effective execution of special pricing programs.</li> <li>Monitors and participates in effective execution of other key partner programs.</li> <li>Builds a new business opportunity funnel around customer acquisition <ul> <li>Promotes Connection Enterprise Solutions&rsquo; partnership arrangement with the respective manufacturer</li> <li>Provides prospects with manufacturer&rsquo;s product information, benefits and comparisons</li> <li>Follows up on a prospect's interest level with a virtual or an in-person meeting, when possible.</li> <li>Generates initial sales and follows up with the prospect on additional business opportunities</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
