You&rsquo;ll also enjoy a generous paid time off package that includes not only vacation and sick time, but also Wellness and Volunteer Time Off days. <br /> <br /><br /><br />The Senior Business Process Analyst relies on experience and judgment to lead business process identification, analysis, and improvement efforts associated with enterprise-wide and ECommerce-specific projects, as well as strategic business transformation initiatives. The Sr. Business Process Analyst exercises independent judgment and discretion in assembling stakeholders and contributors, facilitating efforts to complete business process reengineering plans while calling upon Project Sponsors as needed. The Sr. Business Process Analyst develops new or modified processes in support of applications, platforms, and initiatives. The Sr. Analyst breaks down business processes into specific steps and defines the current "as-is" and future "to be" process flows. The Sr. Business Process Analyst executes improvement projects that deliver results such as improved customer experience or value, operational quality or productivity enhancements, growth initiatives, and delivery or cycle time improvements. The Sr. Analyst serves as a mentor to other Business Process Analysts and as a consultant or &ldquo;trusted advisor&rdquo; to business owners throughout the enterprise.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Leads process investigation, evaluation, and improvement efforts (&ldquo;BPI&rdquo;) associated with business projects</li> <li>Builds BPM business cases by consulting with management and department personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, while assessing current operational procedures and operational gaps and problems</li> <li>Utilizes business process analysis to break down business processes into specific steps, define current and future state, identify, and document workflows, and create business requirements documentation</li> <li>Participates in collaborative efforts to define the evolution of "as-is" business processes into more effective, efficient, and compliant "to be" business processes</li> <li>Provides a comprehensive understanding of how current processes impact business operations across multiple areas; defining the impact of business requirements on upstream and downstream processes; providing insight and consultation to management on how best to integrate requirements with current systems and business processes</li> <li>Works collaboratively with the author of functional systems requirements/IT Department to ensure applications are being modified, acquired and/or created to meet business needs</li> <li>Mentors and trains Business Process Analysts to assist them with decisions or activities relating to assigned projects, and to generally improve their core skills, knowledge, and abilities</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Extensive knowledge and use of Business Process Modeling, Mapping, Analysis and Design</li> <li>Intermediate to advanced skills in using Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart or other diagramming/mapping software with ability to create swim lane-based Business Process Maps and workflow diagrams from scratch or via approved templates</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include creating presentations, creating documents in Word to include advanced formatting, and creating spreadsheets to include the use of macros</li> <li>Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management applications (CRM) and order processing applications (ERP)</li> <li>Functional understanding of eCommerce business and operations, ideally B2B or B2G-focused</li> <li>Innovator with ability to improve existing systems/procedures which periodically result in new ideas or approaches of considerable significance</li> <li>Inquisitive information seeker with ability to ask probing questions to uncover root causes of problems</li> </ul>
