The Analyst supports business transformational projects that affect critical business processes. Projects include customer value offerings, quality enhancements, growth initiatives, delivery and cycle time. The Analyst breaks down simple to complex business processes into specific steps, and defines current state along with future business and system workflows. They work to automate processes or create new business process as needed to support business initiatives. The Analyst assesses organizational needs and readiness and may lead large-scale change projects in collaboration with the Sr Process Improvement Analyst, as appropriate. The Analyst plays a critical role in setting up change management designs ensuring Connection&rsquo;s business leaders have the necessary tools to execute comprehensive change plans resulting in transformational change.<br /><br />Where applicable, this position assures departmental processes are performed in compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Utilizes business systems analysis to break down business processes into specific steps, define current and future state of business and identify and define workflows</li> <li>Participates in collaborative efforts to define the evolution of &lsquo;as is&rsquo; business processes into more effective, efficient and compliant &lsquo;to be&rsquo; business processes. Looks to move manual processes into automated jobs using applications and software solutions both off the shelf and customized.</li> <li>Provides a comprehensive understanding of how current processes impact business operations across multiple areas; defines the impact of business requirements on upstream and downstream processes; provides insight and consultation to management on how best to integrate requirements with current systems and business processes.</li> <li>Builds Business Process Management (BPM) business cases by consulting with management and department personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, while assessing current operational procedures and operational gaps and problems</li> <li>Consults and manages stakeholders to garner business optimization and transformation</li> <li>Develops a business case and justifications for the project. Determines KPIs and conducts thorough trend analysis</li> <li>Creates and maintains accurate and complete business process blueprints in both illustrative (workflow) and measured (chart) forms using results of discovery and data gathering efforts.</li> <li>Writes business requirements documents and works collaboratively with author of functional systems requirements in IT, as appropriate, to ensure enterprise applications are being changed to meet business needs</li> <li>Creates user stories, epics or user journeys as well as wireframes as needed</li> <li>Makes business process recommendations that improve service level performance, maximize customer value, drive down costs and enable better order fulfillment</li> <li>Manages problems, establishes risk mitigation and prepares alternative solutions as needed</li> <li>Creates comprehensive change management plans with actionable insights to ensure adoption of complex transformational projects</li> <li>Creates an impact analysis that determines the size and scope of the change and the people and departments affected</li> <li>Identifies and works with change champions to ensure adoption of change</li> <li>Manages business stakeholders through the change, ensuring they execute the business readiness plan.</li> <li>Determining the training needs and coordinating all training with our training department.</li> <li>Participates in efforts associated with planned process changes.</li> <li>Applies effective methodologies associated with assuring that testing efforts minimize risk of post-launch process performance issues.</li> <li>Requires tight interaction with associated IT personnel and business process workers.</li> <li>Facilitates and/or conducts User Acceptance Testing as needed</li> <li>Creates and maintains project plans for smaller initiatives</li> <li>Completes the work breakdown structure to estimate the effort of a project as needed</li> <li>Monitors progress against tasks, quickly discerns tasks that are getting behind schedule and addresses the cause of the delay</li> <li>Manages stakeholders throughout the project</li> <li>Provides status reports</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project and Visio</li> <li>Experience with Customer Relationship Management Applications (CRM) and ERP order processing applications</li> <li>Practiced in IT Development Lifecycle ITIL and SDLC utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies including Scrum ceremonies and practices.</li> <li>Working knowledge and skill in Jira and TFS with the ability to write user journeys, Epics, and stories, and create wireframes</li> <li>Data savvy in using tools such as Power BI, Business Objects, SQL</li> <li>Able to facilitate and implement User Acceptance Testing (UAT)</li> <li>Tech-savvy with the ability and willingness to learn new software applications</li> <li>Proficiency required for creation of business process blueprints in both illustrative (workflow) such as Visio and measured (chart) forms.
