Overview: <br />Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Programmer Analyst. This is a direct-hire opportunity for an outstanding company in the healthcare industry. This is a remote position!
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Deploy/Maintain/Troubleshoot custom applications and interfaces.</li> <li>Analyze and resolve SQL queries and performance issues.</li> <li>Create and modify stored procedures, reporting solutions, and other processes as required.</li> <li>Development and support of internal applications w/ Visual Studio, VS Code, .NET Framework, using C#.</li> <li>Develop applications and visualizations using Microsoft SQL Server 2016 +, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS).</li> <li>Continuously reviews, recommends, and improves processes and codebases as needed or directed.</li> <li>Experience with Database Design and Modeling</li> <li>Works with users and help desk to document requirements, identify solutions and resolve issues as required.</li> <li>Migrate legacy SharePoint/Excel Services applications to Power BI.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in Visio and in other IT databases.</li> <li>Performing other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of relevant experience in a similar technical role.</li> <li>Experience with SQL programming.</li> <li>Knowledge and ability to create MS-SQL stored procedures, scripts, and queries.</li> <li>Solid working knowledge of MVC.</li> <li>Competency with C#, SQL, .NET. These are the most important languages and frameworks for this role.</li> <li>Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).</li> <li>Minimum of 2+ years of development experience leveraging the .NET framework (4.0 or later/.NET Core), C#, and Visual Studio 2017 or later.</li> <li>Excellent customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Time management and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Must have the ability to effectively communicate technical issues both internally and externally.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years relevant experience in a similar technical role.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or similar.</li> <li>Experience developing solutions with multidimensional BI tools (Power BI preferred) is desirable.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of health care terminology.</li> <li>Proficient in use of C#, CSS, HTML, Python, REST, JSON, JavaScript and/or jQuery, PowerShell.</li> <li>Full-stack .NET Developer meaning Front-end, Back-end, database C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework Code First, Bootstrap and HTML5.</li> </ul>
