The Sr. Manager works in collaboration with business partners, aligning development staff, skills and processes with business needs. The Sr. Manager manages an applications portfolio including ERP, CRM, marketing, sales, and sales support systems. The Sr. Manager works with IT colleagues in maturing our development methodologies with a view towards increasing release cycles and addressing dynamic business needs.</p> </div> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Strategizes with senior leadership to understand the key success metrics for the business and partners with operations teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product, customer success) in translating those key success metrics into meaningful insights</li> <li>Understands the interaction and relationship of business operations, business processes, and supported system applications</li> <li>Collaborates with Finance and Data Analytics to reliably measure and track metrics that serve as the source of truth for the business</li> <li>Develops sharp insights from data, and distills analytical findings into cohesive stories</li> <li>Leads and mentors a team of analysts and developers in designing and creating high impact analyses and processes</li> <li>Establishes workflows, models, frameworks, and templates to help scale decision making for operational teams</li> <li>Oversees the creation of requirements (business, functional, non-functional, security, etc.), functional design and functional specification documentation for reporting solutions</li> <li>Defines best practice approach to data management, reporting and analytics and creates a roadmap of initiatives to deliver on strategy. Assigns and prioritizes project and enhancement tasks; deploys available resources to meet project deadlines and respond to business enhancement priorities</li> <li>Participates in the technical evaluation of new technology and makes recommendations to address business solutions</li> <li>Provides project management, executes key initiatives and establishes timelines through close collaboration with Business Partners, IT peers and external resources</li> <li>Validates and tests potential systematic solutions prior to being pushed to production</li> <li>Reviews and approves all deliverables pertaining to application support and maintenance services including Monthly status reports, Service improvement plans, Root cause analysis for critical incidents, operational risks and compliance framework, policies, processes, maintenance services and service level attainment.</li> <li>Negotiates and manages all release activities, coordinating activities across environments to ensure smooth and complete progression through all environments.</li> <li>Maintains documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists and dependencies.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>12+ years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment and systems lifecycle management with ability to successfully and effectively lead a team</li> <li>8+ years of experience in JDEdwards ERP implementations to prioritize projects assigned</li> <li>7+ years of experience with reporting and analytics to lead team in effectively meeting deadlines</li> <li>5+ years of successful experience in effectively and efficiently managing projects</li> <li>5+ years proven people management experience with ability to develop team</li> <li>Experience with data visualization (e.g., JDEdwards reporting, PowerBI, etc.) and experience with upstream data work (e.g., SQL)</li> <li>Knowledge of data migration (ETL) and Data Warehousing methodologies</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of database architectures and data management processes and methodologies</li> <li>Highly skilled at understanding the complex needs of the business, translating its priorities into operational plans, and orchestrating the successful execution of the work to the specified timelines on a consistent basis.</li> <li>Passion for bringing all data together and making sense of it</li> </ul>
