Full Time

Salary Range: $29.00/Hr. - $32.00/Hr.

Overview: <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a&nbsp;Desktop/Field Technician in Mundelein, IL.&nbsp;This is a contract opportunity for an outstanding company in the manufacturing industry.</p> <p><strong>We at Connection offer terrific benefit options for our W2 contractors that start on the first day of the month!</strong></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide professional support for end users of personal computers or their associated networks, hardware, software, or peripherals.</li> <li>Receive referrals from tier 1/help desk support and troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve more complex operating errors.</li> <li>Install and configure software or hardware updates or patches.</li> <li>Evaluate and resolve network connectivity or communications systems issues.</li> <li>Develop and maintain documentation related to systems or workstations and may provide user training.</li> <li>Ensure systems and workstations are compliant with organizational policies and security standards.</li> <li>May set up and deploy new user workstations or accounts.</li> <li>May assist with IT asset tracking.</li> <li>Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.).</li> <li>Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.</li> <li>Be open to occasional travel, including day trips and overnight stays within IL. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.</li> </ul>
