Overview: <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Sr. Systems Engineer. It is a contract-to-hire position with our client. The End client has fantastic benefits and great growth opportunities.</p> <p>The position is remote however, there is up to 40% travel to visit new sites.&nbsp;<br /><br />The&nbsp;Senior IT Systems Engineer&nbsp;position will help manage our internal systems and infrastructure including but not limited to MS 365, Azure, Active Directly, Okta, Meraki networking along with our practice management solutions Cornerstone and Gingr. Other responsibilities include integrating newly acquired centers, migrating system and services, updating, or replacing IT systems and infrastructure.</p>
Responsibilities: <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul> <li>Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS platforms.</li> <li>Implementing new and support existing Azure based windows client-server practice management instances.</li> <li>Assisting software team with new center migrations to Gingr for pet centers.</li> <li>Work with security team on cybersecurity initiatives.</li> <li>Configure and install Meraki firewalls, APs, and switches.</li> <li>Configure and install new workstations, printers, cameras.</li> <li>Manage Email and data migration projects.</li> <li>Provide project management and guidance to local IT partners for projects.</li> <li>Expert troubleshooting Microsoft Servers, Windows and Macintosh computers, printers, networks, phone, and camera systems.</li> <li>Reliable communication and documentation providing regular updates to all parties including center staff and Technology teams.</li> <li>Participate in our weeklong afterhours on call rotation, currently around once every 4-6 weeks.</li> <li>Support helpdesk and other departments as needed.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Solid background supporting MS Azure, cloud computing, networking, MS 365 services, Windows server/AD, cybersecurity.</li> <li>10+ years' IT Support experience supporting Windows/MS 365/Environments.</li> <li>Effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Proven project management experience.</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills. Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills that enable you to speak effectively with anyone and everyone, listening and empathizing over any media.</li> <li>People know that they can rely on you to follow through and make things happen.</li> <li>Great Team Skills, working with all skill levels with a positive, friendly disposition.</li> <li>Learn quickly, be a self-starter, take direction well.</li> <li>Exceptional troubleshooting skills, detail orientated.</li> <li>Advanced understanding of networking and networking principles.</li> </ul>
