Overview: <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Desktop Support Specialist. This is a direct-hire opportunity for an outstanding end-client in the hospitality industry. This position is on-site in Plano, TX, M-F, 8-5PM CST. The offering hourly rate is $24/hr.</p> <p>This role provides desktop support, including deployments, equipment moves, installations and configuration changes. Support includes troubleshooting complex issues on Windows PC's, MAC's, printers and mobile devices, install isoftware, peripherals and transferring data.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We Do:</strong></p> <p>We calm the confusion of IT by guiding the connection between people and technology. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide Tier 2 Executive level support.</li> <li>Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.</li> <li>Ability to work alone or with a team.</li> <li>Willingness to go above and beyond.</li> <li>Other support activities include researching and recommending solutions.</li> <li>Working with vendors and backline teams to resolve issues.</li> <li>Must provide excellent customer service skills, follow processes, learn quickly, and interact with a diverse population in a corporate environment.</li> </ul>
