You&rsquo;ll also enjoy a generous paid time off package that includes not only vacation and sick time, but also Wellness and Volunteer Time Off days.<br /><br /><br />Working under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Returns, Refurbishment and Liquidations, the Returns Supervisor manages the daily operations for receipt of returned product to enable prompt credit back to customers and the timely disposition of returned items back to the original sources for full credit. Supervises department personnel to ensure efficient departmental operations, as well as facilitates and supports individuals by being actively engaged in all facets of the Returns departmental procedures. The Returns Supervisor engages and establishes business relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure proper communication and best practice methods are deployed between Connection and vendor/supplier partners. The Supervisor generates, maintains and analyzes the activities of the department to ensure continuous improvement and meet departmental goals. Working with managers and supervisors, Supervisor coordinates a smooth workflow through Configuration and Technical Services groups.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develops and implements inventory management strategies and a process to accurately receive and account for customer returned products.</li> <li>Monitors proper and timely receipt of customer returned products to enable credit back to customers.</li> <li>Ensures product is accurate and complete and is identified for refurbishment, returns or liquidation.</li> <li>Maintains proper documentation of liquidation and destruction of product and supports the disposition of product through the process.</li> <li>Ensure 100% accuracy is maintained for all Inventory and proper shelf locations.</li> <li>Internal Communication with Customer Care, Purchasing, Refurb and inventory Control</li> <li>Supervises day to day activities of Returns Vendor Associates in expediting returned inventory back to original sources for full credit.</li> <li>Encourages and assists RTVA&rsquo;s in building working relationship with vendors and suppliers.</li> <li>Analyzes and evaluates opportunities to escalate denied return requests back to the vendor.</li> <li>Facilitates and negotiates denied RMA requests for Connection with our suppliers.</li> <li>Reviews product identified for refurbishment, liquidation and or destruction to confirm all return and recovery opportunities have been exhausted.</li> <li>Provides feedback to Management of opportunities and improvements to increase recovery.</li> <li>Responds to phone and email communications answering inquiries from internal and external customers in a timely manner.</li> <li>Provides leadership and guidance across full breadth of the Returns Staff and day to activities. Look to develop strategies and improvements to reduce shrinkage and maximize returns to vendors.</li> <li>Responsible for the actions of the Returns department personnel to optimize workflow, resulting in the reduction of product aging in returns inventory with the expectation of returning back to supplier for full credit or dispositioning inventory through other means while maximizing recovery costs.</li> <li>Monitors department activity, and provides guidance when needed to maintain efficiency.</li> <li>Holds daily/weekly meetings with individuals and as a group to establish best practice methods to improve results and supports the team when problem issues need to be escalated both internally and externally.</li> <li>Supervises the Returns employees during normal business work hours as well as work any additional hours as necessary to complete the Returns Supervisory duties. Provides leadership among the team, and supports regular meetings to assist in the balance of workflow and provide support when needed.</li> <li>Generates, evaluates and maintains departmental reporting requirements as outlined by Management and Connection policies and procedures.</li> <li>Reviews and analyzes department reports to identify trends or opportunities to increase returns back to vendor.</li> <li>Works with management to establish departmental goals and provide feedback of opportunities, successes and needs for improvements.</li> <li>Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.</li> </ul>
