Overview: Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Desktop/Field Technician in&nbsp;Jeffersonville, OH. This is a&nbsp;Contract&nbsp;opportunity that and offers outstanding benefits.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide desktop support and IT services to various company locations.</li> <li>Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on company devices including PCs, printers, and servers.</li> <li>Handle moves, adds, and changes (MAC) responsibilities efficiently.</li> <li>Install and configure hardware and software as needed.</li> <li>Perform basic networking troubleshooting tasks to ensure smooth operations.</li> <li>Utilize general knowledge of Active Directory for user and device management.</li> <li>Deliver world-class customer service to company on-site locations, ensuring customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Travel to various locations as needed to provide field IT support services.</li> <li>Create, track, and resolve service tickets, determining priority levels and ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly.</li> <li>Install devices and collaborate with the network team to ensure devices operate smoothly.</li> <li>Perform server cable patching to maintain site operations.</li> <li>Maintain close and positive relationships with customers to ensure their IT needs are met.</li> </ul>
