Overview: <p><strong>One of our corporate financial clients in downtown Chicago has an immediate onsite opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst.&nbsp;</strong>This role will be 50% help desk and 50% deskside work. Professional attire and attitude required, including excellent customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision with a high sense of urgency.</p> <p>This will be 100% onsite. Hours are M-F, 8am-5pm. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Take initial call from Corporation end user and log data.</li> <li>Provide first-level diagnosis for potential resolution.</li> <li>Direct other calls to the appropriate Resolver Group.</li> <li>Escalate calls that cannot be resolved by either Level One or Level Two.</li> <li>Monitor tickets and prioritize work for analysts and engineers.</li> <li>Provide clients with status of open tickets upon request.</li> <li>Process new hire, term and move requests, creating the appropriate work items within the ticketing system.</li> <li>Create &ldquo;Active Directory&rdquo; profiles for new hires/modify existing profiles when required.</li> <li>Engage 3rd party vendors when needed and document accordingly.</li> <li>Troubleshoot hardware and software issues based on priority.</li> <li>Perform repairs for equipment failures.</li> <li>Connect new workstations to network and host systems.</li> <li>Perform equipment moves if required.</li> <li>Perform application software installation.</li> <li>Perform data migration services.</li> <li>Assist with helpdesk coverage as required.</li> <li>Maintain loaner laptop pool.</li> <li>Assist with desktop/laptop imaging as needed.</li> <li>Any other activities assigned by TRC Manager.</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <ul> <li>Professional presence and excellent communication skills.</li> <li>Experience in a previous professional/corporate or financial environment highly desired.</li> <li>IT certifications or equivalent of education preferred.</li> <li>Ability to work well with others, customer friendly, and ability to work independently as needed.</li> </ul>
