Overview: Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a PC Support Technician in Contoocook, NH. This is an onsite contract position with benefits.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide on-site IT support for approximately 280 employees.</li> <li>Handle in-stock IT assets and track inventory using spreadsheets.</li> <li>Perform software installations and set up new hardware.</li> <li>Build and image laptops (manual process, training provided).</li> <li>Troubleshoot printer issues and other peripheral devices.</li> <li>Assist with asset management, including tracking and maintaining IT equipment.</li> <li>Perform routine IT maintenance and basic network troubleshooting.</li> <li>Occasionally travel to another location a few miles away (mileage reimbursed).</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>2+ years of IT support experience.</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and peripherals.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, walk frequently, and work in a manufacturing/plant setting.</li> <li>Comfortable working in a sometimes noisy or dusty environment (safety gear provided).</li> <li>Basic knowledge of asset management and inventory tracking.</li> <li>Experience with laptop imaging and setup (manual process, will train).</li> <li>Valid driver's license for occasional travel to a nearby facility.</li> </ul>
