Overview: <p><span data-contrast="auto">Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Solutions and Services division for a contract Desktop Support Technician role onsite in Janesville, WI. The contract will last between 1-3 months and will be M-F, 7-4PM.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">Starting pay is $25/hr. Background and drug screen will be required for this position.</span></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li><span data-huuid="12831059690254611628"><strong>Troubleshooting and problem resolution:</strong>&nbsp;</span><span data-huuid="12831059690254612995">Diagnosing and resolving computer hardware, software, and network issues.<span class="pjBG2e" data-cid="de4667f2-d77d-4417-8390-36beadd05351"><span class="UV3uM">&nbsp;</span></span></span></li> <li><strong>Hardware and software maintenance:</strong>&nbsp;<span data-huuid="12831059690254613000">Installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.<span class="pjBG2e" data-cid="45ebb2ef-3cc6-479d-b0b9-ab4fe439cd55"><span class="UV3uM">&nbsp;</span></span></span></li> <li><strong>On-site and remote support:</strong>&nbsp;<span data-huuid="12831059690254613005">Providing technical assistance to users, both in person and remotely.<span class="pjBG2e" data-cid="dc104637-732f-4598-bdce-7e3207ba8b91"><span class="UV3uM">&nbsp;</span></span></span></li> <li><strong>End-user support:</strong>&nbsp;<span class="oXzekf" data-huuid="12831059690254613010">Assisting users with basic computer tasks and troubleshooting.<span class="pjBG2e" data-cid="5a05f9ae-5fcd-4582-983b-6b8dae39ecaf"><span class="UV3uM">&nbsp;</span></span></span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">2+ years' experience.</li> <li>Good communication skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Candidate should have an A+ (or be willing to get).</li> <li>Windows&nbsp;10&nbsp;knowledge.</li> <li>Hardware&nbsp;repair experience both PC and Printer.</li> <li>Excellent Customer Service&nbsp;skills.</li> <li>Experienced with providing PC support&nbsp;both desk-side and remote.&nbsp;</li> <li>Able to work alone or as part of a team.</li> <li>Microsoft Office 365 experience is a plus.</li> </ul>
