This role will oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple teams and vendors, driving requirements, execution, governance, and change management. It is a remote position&nbsp;but needs to be able to travel to San Fran office on average one week per month (all expenses paid).&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and manage a portfolio of M365 migration projects, ensuring delivery, stakeholder alignment, and risk management.</li> <li>Analyze current environments including shared drives, personal storage, Active Directory (on-prem &amp; Entra), and licensing to define migration strategy.</li> <li>Design and implement SharePoint and OneDrive architecture, including data structure, permissions, and governance policies.</li> <li>Oversee migration of file shares, user data, and dependent applications to Microsoft 365 using appropriate tools and methodologies.</li> <li>Drive change management and user adoption, including communication plans, training, and support models.</li> <li>Optimize Microsoft 365 licensing, storage, security, and compliance policies post-migration.</li> <li>Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution with minimal business disruption.</li> <li>Establish documentation, operational processes, and long-term support models, including system decommissioning and handoff.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>8+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience.</li> <li>Proven experience leading enterprise Microsoft 365 migrations (SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID/Azure AD).</li> <li>Strong knowledge of data migration, identity management, and cloud governance.</li> <li>Experience with change management, training, and user adoption strategies.</li> <li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in public sector or healthcare environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with compliance, data retention, and security policies.</li> <li>PMP, Agile, or Microsoft certifications.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Because of the possibility for fraudulent job postings on many popular job boards, please be advised that Connection will never offer a position of employment without a complete interview process and communication with a &ldquo;live person."</p>
