Overview: <p>Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an Agile Project Manager. This is a contract opportunity with a potential for a permanent opportunity for the right candidate; working for an outstanding company in the healthcare industry.</p> <p>Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to support a high-visibility Procurement organization responsible for driving more than 80 strategic internal initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned project management professional who excels at managing multiple priorities, working independently, and delivering successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>While technology project management experience is not required, candidates with procurement, sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, or supply chain experience are highly desired.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We Do:</strong></p> <p>We calm the confusion of IT by guiding the connection between people and technology. Responsibilities: <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Lead and manage multiple procurement and business-focused initiatives simultaneously using Agile project management methodologies.</li> <li>Drive project planning, execution, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communications across a large portfolio of projects.</li> <li>Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and project reviews.</li> <li>Partner with procurement leadership and cross-functional business teams to ensure project goals and deliverables are achieved.</li> <li>Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.</li> <li>Identify project risks, dependencies, and obstacles while proactively developing mitigation plans.</li> <li>Coordinate priorities and resources across numerous concurrent initiatives.</li> <li>Provide regular project updates and executive-level reporting to leadership stakeholders.</li> <li>Utilize project management tools to track milestones, deliverables, budgets, and project health.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul data-spread="false"> <li>8+ years of Project Management experience leading complex business initiatives.</li> <li>Proven experience serving as an Agile Project Manager.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.</li> <li>Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.</li> <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Experience utilizing a variety of project management methodologies and project management tools.</li> </ul> <br /> <h4><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h4> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Procurement, sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, contract management, or supply chain project experience.</li> <li>PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.</li> <li>Experience supporting enterprise business transformation or operational improvement initiatives.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Because of the possibility for fraudulent job postings on many popular job boards, please be advised that Connection will never offer a position of employment without a complete interview process and communication with a &ldquo;live person."</p>
