Taking direction from the Returns Lead, the Returns Material Handler loads and unloads materials on and off trucks, picking, packing, and shipping materials back to suppliers. Knowledge of identifying proper shipping labels and coordinating and palletizing products for shipment is required. The Handler works in a warehouse environment as a certified forklift operator. The Returns Material Handler collaborates with other departments such as Customer Service, Refurb, Receiving, Return to Vendor Associates, Purchasing and external Connection Customers, carriers and Vendors.</p> </div> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li class="rendered-text ql-editor-output">Ensures that all returns to be shipped are processed accurately and in a timely manner according to company policy to ensure timely reimbursement to Connection.&nbsp;</li> <li class="rendered-text ql-editor-output">Assists the Returns team in the processing and warehousing of all returned items.&nbsp;</li> <li class="rendered-text ql-editor-output">Ensures 100% accuracy is maintained on all inventory and assuring that it is put away in proper locations.</li> <li class="rendered-text ql-editor-output">Assists in the evaluation and reclassification of Open Box and Scratch and Dent product not being processed in the Refurb Lab.&nbsp;</li> <li class="rendered-text ql-editor-output">Prepares and monitors inventory of liquidation/destroy product to assure accuracy for proper disposition. Also pull any product from sellable locations as directed to be dispositioned.&nbsp;</li> <li class="rendered-text ql-editor-output">Provides answers to any questions that arise on product within the Returns Department.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>One or more years of experience in a similar role.</li> <li>Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet.</li> <li>Ability to identify Item &amp; SKU products.</li> <li>Have strong communication skills and customer service experience.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><em><strong>Because of the possibility for fraudulent job postings on many popular job boards, please be advised that Connection will never offer a position of employment without a complete interview process, communication with a live person, and a signed offer letter.</strong></em>
