We are looking for an <strong>AR Cash and Credit Analyst</strong> to join our Accounts Receivable team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining accurate customer accounts, applying customer payments, evaluating credit risk, and supporting business growth through sound credit decisions.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working with data, collaborating across departments, and contributing to the financial health of a growing organization.</p> <br /> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Process and reconcile customer payments using automated cash application and auto-matching tools.</li> <li>Research unapplied and open payments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely and accurate application of cash receipts.</li> <li>Establish and maintain customer accounts, ensuring all documentation and system information is complete and accurate.</li> <li>Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers through financial analysis, payment history review, and available credit resources.</li> <li>Recommend and maintain customer credit limits in accordance with company policies and risk management guidelines.</li> <li>Respond to credit-related inquiries from customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Monitor customer accounts for changes in credit risk and recommend adjustments when appropriate.</li> <li>Partner with Sales and Finance teams to resolve account issues and support business objectives.</li> <li>Assist with special projects, reporting, and other Accounts Receivable and credit-related activities.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Familiarity with credit bureau information.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Understanding of financial statements, budgets, financial disclosures, and their impact on risk.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills.</li> <li>Working knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne (E1) or a comparable ERP system.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.</li> <li>Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.</li> </ul> <br /> <br /><br />Because of the possibility for fraudulent job postings on many popular job boards, please be advised that Connection will never offer a position of employment without a complete interview process, communication with a live person, and a signed offer letter.
