Responsibilities: <ul><li>The House Person is to provide an effective and efficient working environment for the Hotel’s Guest Room Attendants ensuring the hotel guest rooms are clean and that the rooms are ready in a timely manner for the next Guest that will be checking in. </li><li>Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Cactus Petes housekeeping manual. </li><li>Must maintain all your GRA (Guest Room Attendant) carts throughout the day with clean sheets, water, rags, and any other material a Guest Room Attendant will be expected to have available to complete a room. </li><li>All closets must be well organized, clean, neat and tightly, boxes broken down and taken out every day NO EXCEPTIONS. </li><li>Report any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Management.</li><li>Follow the established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.</li><li>Maintain linen and guest supplies in the linen storage areas.</li><li>Responsible for cleaning the hotel public areas.</li><li>Replenish linen and guest supplies in the housekeeping closets.</li><li>Collect used linen from the housekeeping room attendant carts and transport linen to the closet.</li><li>Report damage, improvement or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must be at least 17 years of age.</li> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.</li> <li>Prior experience in housekeeping preferred.</li> <li>Valid driver license required.</li> </ul> LANGUAGE SKILLS<br />Ability to communicate verbally in English is preferred.<br /> <br />REASONING ABILITY<br />Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.<br /> <br />PHYSICAL DEMANDS <br />The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.<br /> <br />CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:<br />Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.<br />
