Overview: <p class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">Your Role:<br /></strong><br class="ignore-global-css" />Assist members with financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Identify opportunities to promote products, services and solutions that benefit members while building a positive relationship.<br class="ignore-global-css" /><br class="ignore-global-css" /><strong class="ignore-global-css">Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul class="ignore-global-css"> <li class="ignore-global-css">Receives and processes member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals. Investigates and resolves out-of-balance situations.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Adheres to and follows all governmental policies, regulations, internal processes and procedures.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Identifies opportunities and cross-sells/offers products and services to members.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including computer input, answering the telephone and other duties assigned.</li> </ul> <p class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">Performance Measurements:</strong></p> <ul class="ignore-global-css"> <li class="ignore-global-css">Provides friendly, professional service to members. Makes sure member's name is used during the transaction.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Balances daily and is able to count and close drawer within 15 minutes at the end of a shift.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Contributes a fair amount of branch transactions based on branch volume.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Have no more than one posting error per month.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <strong class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">This is a part-time position with the following schedule: Monday through Thursday 11:45 AM to 5:15 PM, Friday 12:45 PM to 6:15 PM, and 1-2 Saturdays a month from 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM.<br /><br /></strong></strong> <p class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">Qualifications</strong></p> <ul class="ignore-global-css"> <li class="ignore-global-css">High School education or GED Required.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Six to twelve months of cash handling and/or customer service experience. Preferred.</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. (High proficiency).</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information. (High proficiency).</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Team-oriented, member-focused and enjoys helping others while performing routine tasks. (High proficiency).</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Careful attention to details of work including accuracy, balancing and quality. (High proficiency).</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Can operate office equipment including computers, copiers/scanners, cash counting machines and coin counters. (High proficiency).</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Basic understanding of math and cash counting/handling skills. (High proficiency).</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Ability to interpret and administer credit union policies and procedures. (High proficiency).</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Maintains confidentiality related to credit union operations and member information. (High proficiency).</li> </ul>
