You will be a key player on the team, responding to inquiries from credit unions and customers, running statistical reporting, and contributing to team projects. Responsibilities: <p><strong>What you will do</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Process requests.&nbsp;</strong>You will process renewals, cancellations, refund approvals, and internal statistical reporting. You will complete certificate changes on the system (e.g., certificate cancellations, coverage changes, account changes, member information, beneficiary changes). You will support the Senior Billing Admin Specialist on complex files.</li> <li><strong>Assist.&nbsp;</strong>You will be part of projects relating to new business, banking mergers and conversions, account cancellations, and bulk clean up or edit requests.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate.</strong>&nbsp;You will seek out information from account executives, project managers, credit unions, and team members on projects.</li> <li><strong>Support audits.&nbsp;</strong>You will perform procedural steps to satisfy audit requirements and prepare required documentation and sample files for yearly audits. You will coordinate with an external auditor on audit timelines and inquiries.</li> <li><strong>Provide customer service.</strong>&nbsp;You will respond to inquiries via phone, email, or fax, communicating with insured members, team members within other departments, and internal/external partners to resolve billing inquiries regarding customer/member files and account balances.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What you bring</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>The experience.</strong>&nbsp;You have several years of customer-facing experience responding to inquiries, generating reports, and maintaining requests. Ideally, you have direct exposure to or knowledge of basic financial or insurance industry terms.</li> <li><strong>The ownership.&nbsp;</strong>You hold yourself highly accountable for meeting your deliverables. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and can balance priorities, adapting quickly from one task to another. You are comfortable communicating by phone or email with customers, internal teams, and external partners.</li> <li><strong>The technical skills.&nbsp;</strong>You are highly proficient in MS Excel and Word.
