Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Works with lending staff, legal counsel, fee appraisers, and management to execute action plans for collection/reduction of Special Assets.</li> <li>Leads and directs collection actions and relevant correspondence (i.e., Distressed Loan Restructuring notices, Demand notices, etc.), action plans, and collection activities.</li> <li>Executes appropriate collection and/or liquidation actions and provides appropriate communication and reporting of actions taken. Ensures that collection/liquidation actions comply with regulations and ordinances regarding debtor&rsquo;s rights.</li> <li>Works with collection agents, fee appraisers, service contractors, commission agents/brokers, and other resources as required to accomplish defined objectives.</li> <li>Submits progress reports and other information regarding the status of Acquired Property and selected Special Assets to management.</li> <li>May develop and approve within delegated authority or recommend approval of minimum auction reserves and foreclosure bids for Acquired Property.</li> <li>May negotiate with debtors of selected high-risk loans and with prospective buyers of Acquired Property to achieve defined objectives.</li> <li>May approve within delegated authority or recommend approval of private treaty offers, sales contracts, and other disposition of Acquired Property.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>General knowledge of accounting/financial systems.</li> <li>Specialized knowledge of accounting/finance principles.</li> <li>Specialized knowledge of loan term negotiation, accounting standards, banking regulations, operations, and credit practices.</li> <li>Skill in financial analysis of general commercial credits.</li> <li>Skills in oral and written communication.</li> <li>Basic skill level in the use of various loan analysis software programs.</li> <li>Basic skill level in Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>Ability to perform basic to intermediate-level accounting/financial analyses under moderate supervision.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>At the discretion of CFC, position may be offered at alternate titles and other business experience may be considered relevant.
