Managing Director

Overview: <p>The ideal candidate will have a strategic focus on the Germany, as well as the Poland and the Czech Republic markets to drive an accelerated growth rate for this dynamic company. She/he will be responsible for 50 employees in the region with an annual revenue of 20M Euro.&nbsp; As the Regional Managing Director, you will lead sales and have impact on marketing and supply chain requirements and will successfully implement strategies to increase sales and market share within the given region.&nbsp; We are looking for a candidate who understands and has worked in the dynamics of the construction industry of these three country markets and who will therefore enhance success in driving direct and partner channels forward.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications and skills </strong></p> <p>Solid experience in successfully developing business in the German construction market, having General Management experience from similar / larger sized businesses.</p> <p>Broad experience in a B2B operating model selling through distributors and direct to projects managing premium brands toward professional market segments.</p> <p>Strong background in building a professional sales organization that is KPI driven with CRM systems and pipeline management tools.</p> <p>Previous overall P&amp;L experience having led direct and distribution teams.</p> <p>Passion for driving business and leading change with a hands-on approach.</p> <p>Team oriented, leading from the front and providing impactful guidance as a mentor.</p> <p>People person that is down to earth, has empathy and is pragmatic but also an executive presence.</p> <p><strong>Education and experience</strong></p> <p>Preferably a technical degree relevant to the construction industry is required, alternatively a commercial degree with very strong technical abilities and understanding is also acceptable.&nbsp; &nbsp;MBA preferred</p> <p>10+ years&rsquo; experience, including management positions with increasing responsibilities</p> <p>Fluent in English and German</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
