Manager

Overview: Our client is a successful and innovative company within the travel, transportation &amp; logistics sectors. to new business areas around urban logistics and electric vehicles. They are leaders in their field across 13 countries and are set to grow significantly in the next few years. They capitalize on new technology and offerings to grow organically as well as inorganically. Their complex and unique business model gives employees an exciting opportunity for challenges and personal growth!<br /><br />As our client&rsquo;s business evolves, they are in need of a dynamic Product Manager who can support the business by defining new use cases for City Logistics, Urban Hubs, and mobility in general. This position will take existing ideas and develop them; as well as use their creativity and business savvy to bring new ideas to the table. This Product Manager will lead research, business plan definition and analysis while working cross functionally with IT, Sales, Marketing and Operations across Europe in the major urban hubs. This position will also be responsible for B2B business partnerships and pilot roll outs at various locations around Europe.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Define use cases and roadmaps in the areas of: Smart Logistics, City Logistics, Urban Hubs, and mobility topics</li> <li>Research, assess, and optimize the existing value chain including the preparation of make-or-buy decisions and legal obstacles and requirements</li> <li>For new product/services, write pricing models and align with existing digital platforms and commercial models</li> <li>Develops marketing plans including detailed analysis and selection of case studies</li> <li>Orchestrate pilots and testing of new product/services</li> <li>Identify and prioritize key partners for target use cases and liaise between headquarters and Country Sales Managers to facilitate relationships</li> <li>Conduct ongoing analysis of the competitive environment both for client industry and key partner protagonists</li> <li>Interface to IT, Sales &amp; Marketing &amp; relevant Operations</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Self-motivated, driven, and hungry for success</li> <li>Creative ability to see greater business benefit and revenue upsides in complex environment</li> <li>Ability and willingness to travel frequently</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders from various international backgrounds</li> <li>3-5 years&rsquo; experience in City Logistics (e.g. last mile delivery) preferred</li> <li>Proven track record of implementing smart logistics hubs / solutions in urban atmosphere</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge regarding legal requirements within City Logistics eco-system</li> <li>English fluency a must, German ideal</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, logistics, or related topic</li> <li>Proven ability to professionally lead and control projects</li> </ul>
