Senior Associate

Overview: <p>As Senior S&amp;OP Specialist, you will support the S&amp;OP Manager with development, implementation and execution of the planning strategy within the EMEIA region. We are seeking a high potential who aspires to develop into a management position in the short to mid-term.</p> <p>You will be the central point of contact, support and conduct training on S&amp;OP processes and tools. Additionally, you will lead the S&amp;OP processes, identify process improvement opportunities and recommendations within the supply chain. You will be responsible for facilitating seasonal inventory and capacity planning of finished goods across the supply chain functions in the manufacturing plants and distribution centers. Responsibilities: <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Facilitate seasonality, inventory, and capacity planning of finished goods across supply chain units and manufacturing plants, DC&rsquo;s, Marketing for Business Units</p> <p>Manage issues within supply chain for planning to include shortages and surpluses for the tactical and operational level cross functions and business units.</p> <p>Oversee planning perspective for all new product introductions, in close collaboration with distribution, Master Planning and Project Managers.</p> <p>Administrate the standardized monthly S&amp;OP processes with all connected units.</p> <p>Will participate in the development and further roll-out of the S&amp;OP-process.</p> <p>Will perform reporting and analyses related to S&amp;OP.</p> <p>Will be the point of contact and lead support and training business units for the S&amp;OP process and tools.</p> <p>Ensure development of planning policies and procedures in cooperation with DC&rsquo;s,</p> <p>Manufacturing plants and Sales Units.</p> <strong>Reports to S&amp;OP Manager</strong><br />
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications and Skills </strong></p> <p>Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working Demand and Supply Planning across functional organizations</p> <p>Good experience working in a matrix organization and across cultures</p> <p>Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing and six sigma tools</p> <p>Excellent analytical skills and strong financial knowledge</p> <p>Capability of translating customer needs, market potentials into logistic and planning requirements</p> <p>Effectively communicate within all levels of staff and management to maintain relationship and cooperation in pursuing the goals is of high importance</p> <p>Strong coordination skills and a hands-on approach to drive supply chain improvements.</p> <p>Ability to work independently and travel (up to 20%)</p> <p>Equipped with high personal integrity</p> <p>Ability to focus, prioritize and deliver results quickly</p> <p>Advanced analytical skills and ability to present results in a clear and simple manner</p> <p>Can think out of the box and challenge a traditional mind-set</p> <p>Strong knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and understanding of how supply chain and logistics support the pursuits of overall company targets.</p> <p>Understanding of competition, economic factors</p> <p>Expert level Microsoft Excel</p> <p>Excellent English skills.&nbsp; German, French and Italian helpful.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p> <p>University degree within engineering, supply chain, finance or accounting.</p> <p>Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role, demand planning or master planning. &nbsp;</p> <p>Experience within demand planning for international locations</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>
